High-Definition Total Body Lift Patient 1 in Newport Beach
This is a 43 year old female patient from Baltimore who presented to Plastic Surgery Body Contouring center after losing 142 pounds through gastric bypass surgery. The patient also had an abdominal incision for removal of her gall bladder. Her pre-operative weight was 130 Ibs. The patient had a two-stage total body lift procedure. This included several procedures; first the L-brachioplasty of the arms, which effectively treats the arm, the armpit, and upper chest laxity. Next, this patient had the crescent upper body lift to correct upper body laxity through a well-hidden incision placed vertically from the arm pit to the inframammary fold. She also had breast augmentation with implants, a Wise-pattern breast lift, circumferential abdominoplasty with a midline Fleur-de-lis incision to remove her previous abdominal scar. A Buttock Lift was also completed along with upper buttock augmentation with her own lower back tissue, lower buttock lipoaugmentation, and a lower body lift. In order to improve laxity of the front, back, inner and outer thigh, Dr. Agha also did his signature, Spiral thigh lift procedure. Post-operative pictures are taken at 6 months after her total body lift procedure.
Gastric bypass surgery (bariatric surgery) or massive weight loss leaves a spectrum of changes that most patients find unpleasing. The nature and degree of of the changes that occur after weight loss are determined by the patient's gender, age, pre-bariatric weight, the actual weight loss, and genetic disposition.
Dr. Agha provides a comprehensive approach to bariatric patients who wish to achieve their optimal shape following weight loss. As you consider plastic surgery, one of the most important decisions you will make is choosing your surgeon. Dr. Agha's philosophy is to minimize the size of any given incision and to complete surgical procedures through well hidden incisions. As you view the galleries, place great attention to symmetry, incision, and aesthetic outcome.
